Head coach of Dreams FC, Karim Zito has urged all Kotoko supporters to have patience and support coach Prosper Narteh since that's the only thing to help him pick their pieces and get back on track.

This is due to how agitated the Kotoko faithfuls have been for the past weeks having gone so hard on their coach and players in what they describe as poor performance.

The 'Kum Apem' lads last win was against Bibiani Goldstars in week 19, and haven't won again since then, having lost their last four consecutive league matches.

This poor and appalling run has seen the Porcupine Warriors drop from the top four to ninth position on the league table currently with 32 points, and are now ten away from the top-spot.

This has caused lots of the supports to start calling for the jettisoning of Prosper Narteh Ogum and the other technical team members as they feel they ain't going to help them in anyway.

As a former player and coach of Kotoko, Karim Zito chipped into the conversation and has asked the fans to be calm and supportive in this difficult situation and together the club will rise high again. He told Kumasi-based Akoma FM;

"The IMC expressed their intentions very clearly before the start of the season that they are rebuilding.

"Although the team is currently rebuilding, but the fans, regrettably, are goal-oriented, however, I will beg the supporters to be patient with the coach, after all, this is the same coach who dropped three or four games at the start of the season and later bounce back to a winning streak, and that's football for you.

"Therefore, the supporters should have patience with the coach because, at this point, all he needs is their trust.

"Otherwise, things won't work out. It appears that the coach needs to possess mental toughness in order to maintain focus and accomplish his objectives with Kotoko", he concluded

Asante Kotoko will travel to Bechem United in the next round of matches.
