Hearts of Oak survive relegation with a precious 2-3 comeback win over Bechem United in the last round of matches at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. 

The opening ten minutes was an interesting encounter with both teams nearly hitting the net but Isaac Frimpong couldn't convert a good opportunity whiles goalkeeper Kwasi Nketia pulled a huge stop subsequently to deny a goal scoring opportunity.

The Hunters took the 'Phobians' by huge surprise after opening the scoring account through Emmanuel Owusu after 29 minutes in the game.

Just three minutes on, center-back Kofi Agbesimah headed at a close range against his former club to draw Hearts of Oak back on level as it finished 1-1 after half time.

In the second half, the Rainbow Club returned on a blistering note pushing to snatch the lead for the first time in the game knowing very well they are having relegation staring at them with this scoreline.

Unfortunately, Bechem United scored again on the 60th minute to restore their lead courtesy Bismark Edjeodji. 

Eleven minutes later, another defender Kevin Osei Asibey came off the bench to find the back of the net to draw the 'Phobians' back on level terms.

Dramatic comeback for the giants as Amankwah Baafi scored again to put Hearts ahead for the first time in the game after 74 minutes of action.

It ended 2-3 for Hearts of Oak who have finally secured survival having finished 13th on the table with 45 points.
