Hearts of Oak are back on winning path with a resounding 0-3 away win over Berekum Chelsea in the last game of GPL match-week 29 at the Golden City Park on Wednesday afternoon.
The 'Phobians' have been very shambolic recently with a string of poor outcomes having lost four of their last five games and really needed this win to get themselves back on winning ways.
The game started with both teams looking very calm without any dangerous incursions until Hamza Issah opened the scoring account on the 19th minute for the visitors to mark his 12th of the season.
After preserving their 1-0 lead into half time, the Rainbow Club returned explosively in search of the second as they look to bury the game before their hosts settle down.
Fourteen minutes into the second, Dennis Korsah made an explosive run towards enemy territory and put through Congolese midfielder Linda Mtange who calmly slotted into the net to double Hearts' lead and mark his fourth of the season.
Berekum Chelsea subsequently begun to swing passes among themselves and attacked from the flanks but most of their goal attempts were checked by the travellers backline.
With seven minutes to full time, Ivorian striker Kassim Cisse added his name to the scoresheet to make it three as they continue to run riot over the Bibires
Hearts of Oak after the victory have now moved two places up on the table with 38 points and will face Aduana Stars in the next round of matches.
Berekum Chelsea remain on the eighth spot with 41 points and will take on Asante Kotoko next.
