Vision FC survived a baptismal scare, stifling in a 0-0 draw stalemate with Berekum Chelsea at the Nii Adjei Kraku Park in the Premier League opening fixture.

Nana Kwaku Agyemang’s men failed to break the deadlock in-front of their fans despite being a torn in the flesh for the visitors, who could not make their experience in the Ghanaian top flight count.

While a couple of changes were made on the Ewoo‘s  end, none was able to find the back of the net as the game progressed.

Berekum Chelsea continued to huff and puff as half time approached, and both side’s merited opener did not arrive as the first half came to a closure - producing no goals.

Vision FC’s Appiah fired a superb volley in the 55th minute which flew high, missing the rebound from Teyechu’s perfect cross.

Half-edged chances were still at a premium for both sides as the clock ticked down.

The onus was certainly on Vision FC to make the most of their chances in the short time that remained, but their attackers were unable to nick-in.

Five minutes of injury time was not enough for both club’s to find a winner, although Berekum Chelsea rose above Vision FC into 1st place by virtue of their point, while Vision FC also bosses the 4th position.

Vision FC have five full days to recuperate before travelling to Accra Lions on Friday, September 13, but there is no respite for B. Chelsea, who host Karela United in Game-Week 2 fixture on Sunday, September 15.
