Aduana Stars are ten points away from moving to the top of the Premier League as they will have to leapfrog title contenders Samartex if they are able to win four of their last six remaining fixtures this season.

But, enterprising winger Emmanuel Gyamfi has stated they are not taking nothing for granted even though his side are also favourites to win their second successive top flight title.

Aduana travel to Accra Lions in their match-week 29 fixture having won four of their last 10 league matches, most recently a 1-0 win against cellar dwelling Heart of Lions on matchday 26.

However, a win against the capital side on Monday, May 6, would lift the Fire Boys to inch closer to the summit.

“I can’t determine the winner now, we are all chasing for the title. My club, Aduana, are also trying our best so that at the very end of the league, we can clinch the ultimate,” Gyamfi told Ghanasportspage.com.

“Sure, we can win the title. When we start the season, every club has its ambition to win the title or be in a respectable place on the log but our aim is to win the title and it’s not over until the last day, we will try our maximum best to lift the ultimate at the end.”
