Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has earned a spot in the English Premier League Team of the Week after delivering a standout performance against Manchester City last Saturday.
The 24-year-old played a pivotal role in Bournemouth's impressive 2-1 victory at Vitality Park, which marked the end of the champions' unbeaten streak in the Premier League for the 2024 season.
Semenyo not only scored a crucial goal but also consistently troubled City’s defenders, particularly Kyle Walker, using his exceptional speed and skill to outmaneuver them.
Joining Semenyo in Troy Deeney's BBC Team of Week 10 are Bournemouth teammates Adam Smith and Lewis Cook. Other notable inclusions are Nigeria's Ola Aina from Nottingham Forest, former teammate Dominic Solanke, who now plays for Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon.
The team also features Southampton’s Aaron Ramsdale, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Radu Dragusin of Tottenham, Chelsea's Moises Caicedo, and Joao Gomes from Wolves.
So far this season, Semenyo has made an impact by scoring four goals in ten Premier League appearances.
