Ghana Premier League legend Charles Taylor has lavished praise on Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, suggesting he has the credentials to follow in the footsteps of the iconic Jones Attuquayefio.
Dramani masterminded a famous 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on February 15, 2026, ending a five-year wait for a league win in Kumasi. Remarkably, Hearts achieved the feat while playing much of the match with 10 men, demonstrating discipline, tactical intelligence, and mental resilience.
Speaking to Angel TV, Taylor commended Dramani’s management and urged fans and the club to exercise patience as he continues to build his legacy.
“I want Didi Dramani to know that I love him and, of course, I will criticize him if the right decisions are not made. But on Sunday, he showed that he is a very capable coach. His team controlled the game even while a man down. Didi should be given time, and I believe he can be the next Attuquayefio,” Taylor said.
Jones Attuquayefio remains one of Hearts of Oak’s most decorated managers, having guided the club to four league titles, three FA Cups, a Ghana Super Cup, and continental success in 2000 and 2001.
