Ghana Premier League icon Charles Taylor has thrown his support behind Hearts of Oak coach Didi Dramani following the club’s historic 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in Kumasi, while also emphasizing accountability.
Speaking to Angel TV, Taylor praised Dramani’s tactical nous in guiding a 10-man Hearts side to victory, but made it clear that support does not preclude honest critique.
“I love Didi Dramani, but I will criticize him if he makes mistakes. On Sunday, he showed that he is a good coach—the way his team controlled the game even while a man down. He should be given the chance to work, and I believe he can be the next Attuquayefio,” Taylor said.
The veteran coach Jones Attuquayefio remains one of Hearts’ most successful figures, winning multiple league titles, FA Cups, a Ghana Super Cup, and continental trophies in 2000 and 2001.
