Hearts of Oak midfielder, Glid Otanga has confessed their performance recently has been below par but is still calling on their supporters to rally behind them heading into their final game of the season.
The 'Phobians' ain't safe yet after losing 1-2 at home to Real Tamale United last Sunday- extending their dismal losing streak to four.
They have now descended down to the 11th spot on the league table with 45 points after 33 games and will have to avoid a defeat on the final day in order not to incur any possible relegation threat.
Speaking in a post-match presser, the Congolese middleman who lasted the entire duration of the game, is calling for an unending support from their fans and tells them it is what they need to prevail and climax the season on a brighter note.
"You know now it’s not easy for us. I want to tell our supporters that we don’t have any excuse because this is football, this is our job."
“So I want to tell our supporters not to get tired of supporting us, we need your support."
“We will go to Berekum Chelsea and give all our best.” Otanga Otanga told StarTimes.
Hearts of Oak will play as guests to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
