Sampson Eduku has stated emphatically that his main focus is to ensure his club, Tamale City remains in the Ghana Premier League after the end of the season, with only four games to wrap up the season.

Eduku, 27, has brought down to earth the reports linking him to the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana, insisting he will make a decision about his future at the end of the season.

"For now, I am concentrating on the league because you can't make a decision on where to go while the league is ongoing. My main focus is on the league and ensuring a consistent performance for my team," he said in an interview, as quoted by Ghanaweb.

"Moving to Kotoko or Hearts is yet to be decided. It is ultimately in the hands of the Lord, and He will guide me to the right path," Eduku explained.

Eduku has so far netted 14 goals in 22 league matches this season, bossing the top scorers column with Bechem United's Hafiz Konkoni - who has also bagged 14 goals.
