Michael Osei was quizzed about his forward Prince Owusu's penalty miss against Asante Kotoko, but the experienced tactician didn't mince words, describing the situation as "ludicrous".
Owusu missed the second of his side's two spot-kicks in Gold Stars 1-1 draw to Kotoko, but the Miners head coach says the frontman should have listened to his directive not to take the penalty.
"The last time he blew off the same penalty so I told him he shouldn’t play but he was confident that he could score. That is football.,” Osei said in his post-match interview with StarTimes.
"What I’m disappointed in is he should have listened to me. I told him that today is not a day for him to play a penalty."
