Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani says his team is making progress, even though they failed to score in their last match.

The return of several key players from injury has increased competition in the team and given the technical team more options ahead of Matchday 21. Dramani says this has been a positive boost for the team.

He believes the most encouraging sign is Hearts’ ability to create chances, despite struggling to find the back of the net.

“We are creating enough opportunities,” Dramani said. “The problem is not chance creation, but how we finish them.”

The Hearts tactical brainy explained that training this week has focused on improving decision-making and confidence in front of goal. He remains confident that once his players start scoring, the team’s overall performance will improve.

“When the goals come, the games will open up for us,” he added.

Looking ahead to their next match against Eleven Wonders, Dramani stressed the importance of mindset as well as technique.

“Composure comes when you play with courage, and courage gives confidence,” he said.

Hearts of Oak will hope to turn positive performances into goals when they return to action on Saturday, January 24, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
