Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Karim has been ruled out of the club’s upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter with Heart of Lions after sustaining an injury.
The 25-year-old picked up a knock during the Phobians’ goalless draw with Bechem United in their matchday four fixture at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park last Friday.
Karim’s absence will come as a blow to Hearts, who have relied on his energy and composure in midfield since the start of the league.
Kickgh.com understands that the club’s medical team is continuing to assess the extent of his injury ahead of his potential return to action.
The Phobians will take on Heart of Lions in their matchday five fixture on Monday, October 13, as they aim to move up from third place in the league table.
