Head coach of Legon Cities Football Club, Paa Kwesi Fabin, commended his players for their effort despite their 2-1 loss to Bibiani Gold Stars in the opening match of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Legon Cities began their campaign with a challenging away fixture against Gold Stars in Bibiani. Despite putting in a strong performance, the Accra-based team was unable to secure a point, as Gold Stars emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline at full-time.
In his post-match interview, Coach Fabin expressed his disappointment with the result but emphasized that his players had put in a solid performance on the pitch.
"We had a good game, but it’s unfortunate we lost. We will regroup and prepare for our home game against Medeama," the experienced coach said.
With a tough match against Medeama SC on the horizon, Legon Cities will need to sharpen their preparations as they aim to secure their first points of the season in front of their home crowd.
