The official Fatau Dauda Team of the Week for Matchday 22 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League has been released, with many players performing well over the weekend.
Hearts of Oak dominate the team after their Super Clash win. Benjamin Asare is named goalkeeper and captain after a strong performance, making several key saves as he cannoned blazing shots into his palms to deny Asante Kotoko. Baba Adamu, who scored the winning goal, is also included, along with teammate Abdul Karim. Hearts coach Didi Dramani is named Coach of the Week
In defence, Eric Wiafe Dankwah of Swedru All Blacks, Samuel Attah Kumi of Goldstars SC, Lawson Bekui of Hohoe United and Ali Alhassan of Karela United are all included for their solid performances.
In midfield, Salim Adams of Medeama SC and Seidu Saana of Aduana FC are included after strong performances on Matchday 22. Up front, Ridwan Ali of Vision FC and Bright Boakye Kyereh of GoldStars SC complete the attacking line.
The team is set up in a 1-4-3-3 formation which shows good balance in all areas of the pitch after an exciting round of matches.
Matchday 22 produced many strong individual performances, with players across the league rising to the occasion at crucial moments.
