Chief Executive Officer of Aduana FC, Collins Atta Poku has heaped praises on Hearts of Oak describing them as the most difficult side to play in the Ghana Premier League so far this season.
He made these remarks on the back of the team’s stellar display over the weekend in the Super-Clash where they narrowly edged their bitter rivals Asante Kotoko with ten men in Kumasi.
The win will definitely boost the confidence level of the Phobians and has also kept their league winning hopes alive as they currently sit in third place with 39 points, five points adrift league leaders Medeama SC.
Following that spirited performance, the renowned journalist turned CEO described Hearts as the most compact team in the league and added they struggled very well when they played against them in the first round.
“Hearts of Oak is the most compact team in the league. Playing them is very difficult. We only managed to penetrate them once.”
Aduana FC however have also dropped to the fourth position and will have to up the ante in their subsequent games if they still want to win the title.
After that impressive penalty shootouts win over giants Asante Kotoko in the FA Cup and a vital away draw at Medeama SC last week, the ‘Ogya’ lads are looking highly motivated for all three points this time when they host Hohoe United this weekend in Dormaa.
