Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogum has declared his club readiness to face Accra Lions on Wednesday in Matchweek 22 outstanding game of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors will play as guests to the capital side at the nations Wembley - Accra Sports Stadium.
Accra Lions sent a warning signal to the Kumasi side last weekend with a surprise 2-1 win over Basake Holy Stars.
However, Ogum acknowledged Accra Lions strengths and how motivated they will try to defeat his team, and he quickly said the players are ready to give their best against the Yenn Nyinaa Dea Boys.
"We are very prepared after our last game we played. We have tried to have our recovery session, unfortunately, we have to hit the road the following day so there is still an element of stress in terms of fatigue in the players but then we have to be ready for the game on Wednesday and play," he told Asante Kotoko Media.
"We are ready in terms of what we have to offer on the field, tactically we are ready. If you look at Accra Lions, they are a very good side, as at present they are not in a good standing on the league log so they look more motivated to play and win and get out of where they are now.
"While they are trying to stay out of relegation, we are also trying to compete for the league title so it is going to be a closed and interesting game in terms of who wins," Ogum concluded.
