The Head Coach of Aduana stars, Yaw Acheampong, has reflected on the club's output following the closure of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Ogya lads made an unlikely run to the final stages of the league and came close to securing the ultimate prize in Ghana football but fell a long the way.

On the final day of the season, Aduana - who have won the GPL title twice, failed to come out of the trap of their opponents - Dreams FC, as they were punished 2-1 in Dawu.

Reflecting on the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, the former Ghana international said (via an interview after the Dreams FC game):

“We thank God that we have finished the season, although we didn’t get what we wanted," Acheampong said.

Aduana Stars finished 4th on the standings with 50 points, having failed to win the Ghana Premier League for the second time running.
