Hearts of Oak's head coach, Martin Koopman, believes that the young striker, Hamza Issah, possesses qualities reminiscent of the Brazilian legend Romario.

The teenager showcased his talent by scoring a goal in the Phobians' 3-1 victory against Medeama SC on Wednesday during their eighth match of the season at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Following the game, the Dutch trainer praised Hamza Issah's abilities, stating, “It was a pity that Hamza Issah was sick at half time and so he had a little problem with his stomach and got to the toilet," Koopman said.

“I asked where is Hamza and he got in the toilet so I must change him.

“But you see the qualities of Hamza, he has something from Romario, low on the ground, turns very fast, I like him very much," he added.

Hearts of Oak has now climbed to 13th place with 9 points from 7 matches, with an upcoming match against premier league returnees, Heart of Lions, at the Hohoe Stadium.

Martin Koopman and his team will be facing Karela United in their ninth match at the Aliu Mahama Stadium this weekend.
