Head coach of Legon Cities FC, Maxwell Konadu's invincibility on Hearts of Oak continues and has expressed delight in getting another victory over them during the weekend.
The Royals returned on winning ways with a narrow 1-0 win over the giants at the El-Wak Stadium in GPL match-week 32.
The 'Phobians' started so well and had some glorious opportunities but couldn't make it count only to get punished by the ex- conjurer Kofi Kordzi who scored the only goal in the dying embers of the game.
The victory has enhanced Legon Cities survival chances as they currently lurk around 11th on the table with 43 points.
Reacting to the win, Maxwell Konadu who has recently been linked with a move away, has stated they deserved the win since they made the most of the chances that fell on their path unlike their opponents.
"When the chances come your way and you fail to utilise them one would go against you and you will concede. But having said that I believe to be fair today we deserved the win. We also had some decent chances that we failed to utilise them so I believe it's a true reflection of the game."
The 2016 Ghana champions will play away at King Faisal in the next round of games.
