Hearts of Oak stop-gasp coach, David Ocloo has described their defeat to Legon Cities as an unfortunate one and added is because his players lacked character in such situations.

The 'Phobians' suffered their third straight defeat last Sunday to the Royals at the El-Wak Stadium and have dipped down to the eighth position on the league table.

In a post-match interview with StarTimes, the young tactician stated categorically clear that his charges lacked character and also their opponents showed and deserved to move away with all the three points.

"Legon Cities needed the win more than us especially in the first half, they run more and controlled the game well. It's unfortunate."

"In situations like this, you need character and we don't have that. We created lots of chances but we couldn't make it count."

Hearts of Oak will host Real Tamale United on Sunday in match-week 32 of the Ghana Premier League.
