Accra Hearts of Oak are set to sack injury prone midfielder Daniel Kodie, according to reports in Ghana.
The 29-year-old has come under intense scrutiny from the medical and technical handlers of the team after undergoing a surgery at the Netcare Linksfield Hospital in South Africa - which was fully funded by the club in May 2021.
Kodie was out of action for the Phobians for several months after picking up a career threatening injury in 2019 during the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.
After one year on the sidelines, the former Liberty Professionals star has been left awestrucked as he appears to be finding it difficult to weave into current coach Slavko Matic's setup, as he does not want him in his team due to his injury problems.
Kickgh.com understands that Kodie has been jot down as one of the ten players expected to be sacked this season.
