David Ocloo, the interim coach of Hearts of Oak, praised Amankwah Baafi for his outstanding performance during the team's victory on Sunday evening.

 

The Phobians secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against Nsoatreman FC at the Accra Sports Stadium in their 26th match of the season.

Phillip Ofori scored an own goal in the first half to give the home team the lead, and Baafi scored an impressive counter-attack goal after halftime to extend the lead.

Although Samuel Ofori scored a consolation goal for the visitors, the match ended in favor of Hearts of Oak. After the game, Ocloo commended Baafi's exceptional skills, versatility, and ball control, stating that he is proud of him and believes that national team coaches are watching him.

"Amankwah Baafi is an exceptional player," he said after the game. "I am very proud of him because he is so comfortable with the ball.

"He is able to play anywhere you place him. I believe the various national team coaches are watching him," he added.

Baafi was named the Most Valuable Player of the match, and the win propelled Hearts of Oak to third place on the league table with 42 points.

The team will face Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in their 27th match of the season on Saturday.
