Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has moved to quash reports suggesting he is on the verge of stepping down from his role.
Dramani insisted that his comments were misinterpreted after the club’s weekend draw with Aduana FC.
The former Asante Kotoko and Black Stars assistant coach, who was ppointed before the start of the current Ghana Premier League season has guided the Phobians to six wins, seven draws and two defeats so far. Hearts sit fourth on the table after 15 matches, with 25 points.
Speculation over his future intensified after he was seen interacting with some Hearts supporters in Dormaa following the stalemate against Aduana, with sections of the media claiming he hinted at leaving the club due to recent results.
However, speaking to Ghanasportspage, Dramani clarified that the exchange was friendly and had been taken out of context.
“The fan was just too happy he saw me. They (the fans) will ensure I continue with the good work, I assured him I will do my best and leave when the time is due,” he explained.
Re-emphasising his commitment to the job, he added:
“I will do my best, and when my time is due, I will leave. That was what I said.”
Dramani says his focus remains firmly on improving performances and maintaining consistency as the league progresses.
Hearts of Oak travel to face Samartex 1996 on Friday, 26 December 2025, in a Matchday 16 fixture at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.
