Hearts of Oak defender Konadu Yiadom is urging supporters to remain patient following the club’s difficult start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians have endured a winless start, suffering defeats in their opening two games. They were defeated 1-0 by newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in their season opener and faced another setback with a 2-0 loss to Heart of Lions in Kpando on Sunday.
“Losing our first two games is not refreshing for us. I will plead with our fans to keep supporting us and I think things will get better going forward,” Konadu said.
Hearts of Oak narrowly escaped relegation last season, and their current position at the bottom of the table with no points has raised concerns among fans about the potential for another challenging season.
Despite the early setbacks, Yiadom remains hopeful and calls on the club's loyal supporters to continue their backing as the team works to turn their fortunes around.
