The four-time African conquerors technical team has reportedly handed an invite to the former Dreams FC shot-stopper for the upcoming friendlies against the two European nations later next month

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi has earned Ghana senior national team call-up for their March friendly encounters against Austria and Germany, a report from the media has indicated.

The 25-year-old glovesman has been magnificent for the Phobians so far this season. However, with such an impressive outing in the Ghanaian top-flight, the heavy built goaltender has now caught the attention of the Black Stars technical bench and has handed him an invite into the yet to be released squad for the high-profile 2026 FIFA World Cup preparatory games next month.

According to Kumasi-based Oyerepa TV, Hearts of Oak have already received an official invitation from the Ghana FA over the release of Solomon Agbasi for the two crucial friendlies against Austria on March 27, 2026, and March 30, 2026 against Germany respectively.

Agbasi, who is currently giving first choice goalkeeper Benjamin Asare a stiff competition for the No.1 position at Hearts, is set to renew his rivalry with his nemesis at the international level with the African powerhouse.

He has already taken in 9 appearances for the Capital-based club in this current 2025-26 Ghana Premier League season.
