Asante Kotoko SC has confirmed that it has paid GH¢60,000 to former head coach Karim Zito following his resignation, yet questions over the remaining balance continue to stir debate among fans.

The payment is half of the agreed GH¢120,000 compensation package, which equals four months salary, after the club officially said Zito resigned.

However, the situation is far from resolved. Zito is reportedly seeking clarity on the remaining GH¢60,000 and when it will be paid.

The club says the remaining amount will be paid in instalments because of accounting limits, not all at once.

The development adds to a turbulent period at the Porcupine Warriors, who have seen leadership changes and administrative shifts in recent months. The compensation dispute is now getting extra attention from fans who are demanding for answers.
