Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, has disclosed that players, head coach, and all stakeholders have been tasked in ensuring that the club does not find itself in another relegation battle in the upcoming 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season.
Last season Hearts of Oak narrowly escaped relegation, finishing 14th on the league table with just a point above the relegation zone.
Speaking in an interview on Agoro Fie on Onua TV, Opare Addo said; "The issue is that we all understand that as a bigger club like Accra Hearts of Oak, you don’t even need to be told.
“You have to know that whatever there is to fight for, you need to fight for it.
"From the position we are coming from last season, it is very clear that the first step is that we do not have to go into that same situation again because last two years, it happened, last year it happened. It should not happen again."
Hearts of Oak will kick-start their campaign in the top-flight against newly-promoted Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 8.
