In what made Hearts of Oak to run out of puff and underachieve last season, Board member of the club, Vincent Sowah Odotei has stated they are still evaluating things to find a lasting methodology.
The Phobians survived relegation by a whisker, finishing 14th and thus, had to win 3-2 at Bechem United on the final day of the campaign - their worst record - grinding 11 wins, 12 draws and losing a total of 11 games.
Yet, the woes of the former Continental club masters continued as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the maiden Democracy Cup match at the Accra Sports Stadium, recording their third consecutive loss to the Porcupine Warriors.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Akoma FM following the defeat, Odotei aplomb his trust in the board as they work around the clock to bounce back strongly.
“We continue to review things, and I am confident that given the caliber of people on the board, we will bounce back strongly.
“We will soon announce our new signings, we are putting things together to ensure that we make the best decision for the club.
“Hearts are always supposed to win, so we will go back to the drawing board and ensure that we do what is necessary to make us more competitive for the following season.”
