Accra Hearts of Oak have opened negotiations with the representatives of rising star Bless Ege as the Phobians seek to bolster their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
According to sources close to the club, discussions are currently underway between Hearts of Oak’s management and the camp of Ege, who recently caught national attention with his standout performances for Golden Kick SC, including a sensational free-kick goal in the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup final against Asante Kotoko.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who began his career at Tudu Mighty Jets, has been on the radar of several Premier League clubs including Nations FC, but Hearts appear to be leading the race for his signature.
Negotiations are believed to be progressing well, with a potential agreement expected before Monday, pending final approval of personal terms and transfer conditions.
Bless Egge’s creativity, set-piece ability, and flair in midfield make him a promising prospect for the Phobians, who are undergoing a technical overhaul under newly appointed head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.
If the deal goes through, Egge would join a wave of expected new signings as Hearts of Oak aim to restore their competitive edge.
With multiple suitors now in the mix, Golden Kick face a decision: cash in on their rising star or retain him for another season. Negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming days.
