The Phobians are set to announce the capture of the highly-rated centre-back to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.
Ghana Premier League heavyweights, Accra Hearts of Oak have reached an agreement with King Faisal FC over the signing of David Oppong Afrane in this transfer window.
Kickgh.com can exclusively report that King Faisal FC have agreed a deal with the Phobians for the sale of the 20-year-old defender on a transfer fee around the region of $10,000.
There is also an agreement of a 10% onward transfer for the King Faisal FC.
Oppong Afrane is expected to undergo a mandatory medical examination in Accra later this week after agreeing to personal terms with Hearts of Oak.
He is rated as one of the best central defenders in the local scene following his exploits in the Premier League for the past two seasons at King Faisal before they suffered relegation last season.
The 20-year-old was part of the Ghana U-23 squad that competed in the U-23 AFCON in Morocco, although the team exited the tournament during the group stage.
Hearts of Oak are currently busy on the transfer market to strengthen their squad under Martin Koopman after the signing of Leventus Arthur, Michael Ampadu, Kelvin Osei Assibey, Martin Karikari, Evans Adomako, Kashala Wanet Ramos and Raphael Amponsah.
