Hearts of Oak defender Baba Adamu says the team is fully prepared for their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash against Young Apostles.
The Phobians head into the Matchweek 28 fixture under pressure as they've failed to win any of their last five matches.
Speaking ahead of the game, Adamu admitted the team’s recent performance against Swedru All Blacks was below expectations.
“It wasn’t that good, but it’s all part of the game. At the end, we could have lost, but at least we got a point at home,” he told Hearts TV.
Despite the poor run of form, the defender expressed confidence that the team can return to winning ways in their next match.
“We are always ready for each and every game. The team is well-prepared for that game,” he said.
Adamu also called on supporters to continue backing the team.
“The fans play a very important role in the team because without them, it would be more difficult. I urge the fans to continue supporting the team, and I hope all will be well.”
The match between Hearts of Oak and Young Apostles will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, 5 April, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
