Hearts of Oak Public Relations Officer, Kwame Opare Addo, has emphasized that the club is now fully focused on their upcoming Ghana Premier League match against Vision FC, putting their recent 2-0 victory over Medeama SC behind them.
The Phobians secured the win on Friday night at the Tarkwa TNA Stadium, marking a much-needed return to form after a surprising 1-0 home loss to league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars, which ended their five-game unbeaten streak.
Despite the positive result, Opare Addo stressed that the club is focused on sustained progress and development. “What we started from day one is what we are continuing on,” Opare Addo told Asempa FM. He explained that the goal is to continue developing the young team with each passing match, laying a solid foundation for success throughout the season.
The club is already looking ahead to their round ten clash against Vision FC on Friday, November 8, 2024, with Opare Addo confirming that preparations are well underway. “We have put the victory over Medeama aside and begun preparing for the Vision FC game. Everyone will be there again to support the team as we continue to move on stage after stage,” he added.
With 12 points from three wins, three draws, and three losses, Hearts of Oak currently sit in eighth place on the Ghana Premier League table as they aim to climb further up the standings in the upcoming weeks.
