The Phobians have strengthened their squad list with the acquisition of the highly-rated defensive midfielder for their 2022/23 season's campaign.

Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Congolese international Glid Jeordon Otanga Mvouo on a free transfer.

The midfielder who has been training with the club for some days now impressed the technical team and was also played an integral role in Hearts’ 1-0 win over Mighty Jets on Tuesday.

Prior to joining the Phobians, the 22-year-old had played Akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon’s Coton Sport FC de Garoua.

Mvouo will be the fourth foreign international to join the Phobians after the capture of Yassan Ouatching, Junior Kaaba and Linda Mtange Don.

He is expected to be available for competitive games when his registration is finalized with the Ghana Football Association.
