Enterprising attacking midfielder of Hearts of Oak Hussein Mohammed believes some Debibi United supporters will cheer for the Phobians when the two sides meet on Sunday.
Mohammed, a former Debibi United player, expects support from fans in the area because of his strong connection with them.
"Playing against them, I think I'm also from there. I'm from Techiman, so I can say I'm also from there because I have a lot of fans there who support Debibi United. But I think, with me being in the Hearts of Oak squad, they are also going to support Hearts of Oak," he said.
The midfielder will return to familiar surroundings when Hearts visit Debibi Presby Park for their Matchday-9 Ghana Premier League clash.
Hearts are in good form, having won their last three league matches. Their latest victory was a 1-0 win over Basake Holy Stars, which moved them to second place with 17 points after eight games.
Debibi United, meanwhile, will be looking to recover from their 3-0 defeat to Bechem United. The newly promoted side sit 16th with seven points but have recorded two wins and a draw in four home matches.
Sunday's match will be Hearts of Oak's first top-flight visit to Debibi Presby Park.
