Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon is hoping his struggling side can finally secure their first victory of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season when they host Basake Holy Stars this weekend.

The Still Believe boys have endured a difficult start to the season, collecting just three points from eight matches after recording three draws and five defeats.

With pressure mounting over their poor results, Dormon has admitted that the team's performance has fallen below expectations but remains confident they can turn things around against Basake Holy Stars.

Speaking to Dreams FC TV, the gaffer called on his players to improve their performance and get a much-needed win to increase their confidence.

“It is not good enough that we play eight games and to accumulate three points. Not good enough. But again, last season we went through the same feat. It was difficult, but we were able, you know, to find our rhythm. We hope that this week the team will be able to turn things around and get the momentum on our side," Dormon stated.

Dreams FC will see Sunday's Matchday-9 encounter as a chance to end their winless run and revive their struggling league campaign.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 1, with Basake Holy Stars also aiming to secure a positive result.
