Salifu Ibrahim, the winger for Hearts of Oak, has provided an update on his future at the club as his contract nears its end.

 

The 23-year-old player, who joined the Phobians from Techiman Eleven Wonders in 2021, has approximately one year remaining on his current contract with the club.

Initial reports had suggested that Ibrahim would not be extending his stay with the Ghanaian giants once his contract expires.

However, in an interview with Kessben, the player expressed optimism about a possible contract extension, giving the Phobian fans a glimmer of hope.

“I still have a contract with Hearts of Oak. We are still in talks so everything will be fine. They (the fans) shouldn’t worry. Everything will be fine.”

Pressed further, he added: “I still have a contract with Hearts of Oak. My contract hasn’t run out”

Hearts of Oak finished the season in 12th place with 46 points, and Ibrahim remains hopeful for a more successful campaign in the upcoming season.
