Ghana Premier League powerhouse Hearts of Oak have submitted a second bid to sign David Abagna from Real Tamale United (RTU) in the opened transfer window, according to reports in the local media.
Hearts of Oak have reportedly tabled GHC150,000 to secure the signature of the midfield maestro for the second round of the Ghanaian top-flight league season.
David Abagna has excelled for the Tamale-based side since joining them ahead of the 2021/22 season from Ashanti Gold after spending two seasons with them on the local scene.
The 24-year-old netted nine goals in fourteen appearances for RTU despite sustaining an injury in the camp of the Black Stars during the 2021 African Cup of Nations in his first season.
The Black Galaxies midfield kingpin has so far notched up three goals and made one assist in eight league games for the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium outfit in this current Ghana Premier League 22/23 football season.
Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak were all reported to have enquired about him during the last transfer window.
Abagna is part of the Black Galaxies team that are currently competing in the just started 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in Algeria.
