The Phobians have abrogated their contract with the former AshantiGold SC playmaker after just eight months of his acquisition on a free transfer.
Ghana Premier League powerhouse Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the contract termination of attacking midfielder Seth Osei by mutual consent.
The decision comes following the player's request to cancel his contract with the club due to lack of playing time under the newly appointed coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani.
The club's official statement reads: “Accra Hearts of Oak has mutually parted ways with midfielder Seth Osei. We thank him for his commitment and service to the club during his time with us and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
Osei has fallen down the pecking order of the club since the arrival of Didi Dramani at the Hearts of Oak and he's yet to make an appearance.
He did not feature in the GHALCA Top Four tournament and was yet to make an appearance in the ongoing 2025–26 Ghana Premier League season.
Osei returned to Ghana in January after an unsuccessful stint with South African Premier League side TS Galaxy, signing a two-year deal with the Phobians
