Accra Hearts of Oak per reports, have completed the capture of King Faisal FC defender David Oppong Afrane and are set to announce him before the transfer window is shut down.

The 20-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the 'Phobians' since the window got opened with negotiations held between both parties already and is currently in advance stage.

Speculations has it that, the stalwart defender has already agreed personal terms and has even signed his contract with official announcement very imminent and could be done before September 1, according to reports from a deep throat source. 
 
With the exit of Robert Addo Sowah and others, Afrane is expected to come in with an instant impact to help solidify the backline of the Rainbow Club next season.
 
Hearts of Oak are still on their preseason and are enjoying a very good one, having netted impressive 21 goals and conceded only 3 in their last three matches. 
 
David Oppong Afrane has been instrumental for both King Faisal and Ghana in the 2022/23 season and was an integral member of the Black Meteors in the 2023 U-23 AFCON qualifiers and the main tourney itself.
