Hearts of Oak will face Heart of Lions in the 2024 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup, a commemorative friendly match held during the Homowo festival celebrations.

A press launch for the match will take place on Tuesday, July 23, at the Gbese Mantse's palace, Ussher Fort, in Accra. The event promises to be an exciting encounter between two Ghanaian football giants.
Hearts of Oak recently fell short in their inaugural appearance in the Democracy Cup, losing 2-1 to Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium. However, they will be looking to bounce back from that defeat and make a strong impression in the Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup.
