Centre-back Ali Mohammed is expected to arrive in Accra from Kumasi on Wednesday morning to undergo a medical ahead of finalising his move to Hearts of Oak, Kickgh.com can reveal.
The 23-year-old defender has agreed a two-year contract and will officially sign as a Hearts of Oak player once the medical is completed.
Mohammed, who has previously featured for AshantiGold, Tamale City, Accra Lions, and Vision FC, is being lined up as a key reinforcement for the club’s backline ahead of the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Hearts of Oak, now under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Didi Dramani, are restructuring their squad with an emphasis on shoring up the defence after a below-par campaign last term.
The Phobians are expected to confirm the signing later this week, pending the results of medical tests.
