Abdul Rahim Bashiru, head coach of Young Apostles FC, has admitted they played really poor in their game against Hearts of Oak last Saturday but are going to work on it before their next game.
The 'Agya Na )w) Tumi' lads suffered a 2-0 loss to the Phobians last Saturday evening at the University of Ghana Stadium in a thrilling GPL match-day 23.
Two-headed goals from Michael Awuah Mensah and Hamza Issah were enough to hand the Rainbow Club all three points.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Bashiru stated his former club were the better side in all aspects and could have even scored more
"The game plan, player performance and luck is something every club will need to win matches and none of these worked for us today."
"Hearts of Oak were the better the side throughout and even had some chances to score more. We will now go back and prepare for nothing but the three points against Accra Lions in our next game."
Young Apostles FC will host struggling Accra Lions in Wenchi in the next round of matches.
