Hearts of Oak board member, Alhaji Braimah Akambi says they will reach an agreement with Afriyie Barnieh very soon.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh's contract with Hearts of Oak is reported to have expired this month.
Hearts of Oak have been in talks with the mercurial attacker to commit his future to the Accra-based side but are yet to reach an agreement.
Afriyie Barnieh's stock continue to rise after earning a call-up to the 2022 World Cup, although he did make his World Cup debut.
Clubs from Europe, Asia and Africa have shown interest in Afriyie Barnieh, but he's yet to officially sign for any team.
Afriyie Barnieh is currently in camp with the Black Galaxies as they gear up ahead of the Championship of African Nations(CHAN) next year.
Alhaji Akambi is hopeful Hearts of Oak will reach an agreement with Afriyie Barnieh soon.
"We are still talking to the representatives of Afriyie Barnieh, very soon we will arrive at a deal,"
