There are not many more exciting youngsters in the Ghanaian top-flight league than John Tedeku. The marauding left-back joined the Porcupine Warriors from WAFA at the beginning of the season and has instantly walked his way into the Asante Kotoko team, becoming an integral member and a fan's favourite.
Not deterred by the energy-sapping task assigned him, the highly-talented Tedeku deems it an honour to play for Asante Kotoko.
"It is not easy to be recognised among the lot. Ghana is blessed with exceptional talents and each clamour for the opportunity to play for the big clubs." Tedeku told kickgh.com
"So for me to be spotted and selected among an array of talents is enough for me to be grateful for. It is an honour to play for Kotoko. I am honoured. I will give out my all to ensure I solidify my position in the team and help the team win laurels as a sign of gratitude for the confidence reposed in me. I am loving life at Kotoko." he quipped.
Tedeku is currently recuperating from an injury he picked when Kotoko played against Legon Cities at the Baba Yara Sports stadium. Before his injury, he has made the left-back position his and had made right appearances for the Kumasi club.
