Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed gratitude for the team's Pobiman Academy initiative, citing parallels with Al Ahly's training facility.

The Ghana Premier League team has created a cutting-edge sports facility that includes three football fields, training grounds, staff accommodation, a mini stadium, basketball and volleyball courts, a gym, and a swimming pool.

The tactician referred to the project as one of the best in the world in an interview with Original FM.

"The project of Hearts of Oak should not be different from Al Ahly's. I don't know how many clubs have the facilities that Hearts of Oak has at Pobiman," said the Ivorian coach.

He also emphasized how important the Pobiman training complex is to Hearts of Oak's transformation into one of Ghana's and Africa's premier clubs.

"Hearts of Oak is trying to achieve something beyond football. Our vision is to build Hearts of Oak into an important brand in Ghana and Africa," he added.

The Phobians, who have 22 points and are now in fifth place in the league, are preparing for their next Matchday 15 fixture against the Accra Lions on December 25, 2024.
