Orlando Wellington- Kotoko's assistant coach, has accused referee for cheating stating he awarded an offside goal against them.

The Porcupine Warriors painfully lost 1-0 to sworn rivals Hearts of Oak earlier this afternoon in GPL match-week 20- which also served as this year's President Cup.

It was really a tough and cagey encounter for both teams but Konadu Yiadom's second half header from Linda Mtange's free kick made the difference after full time.

There has been some pictures on social media which shows the ex- WAFA captain was in an offside position before making the connection hence the goal shouldn't have stood.

Looks like Orlando Wellington agrees with those irate Kotoko fans and added they were also denied a clear penalty in addition.

"Hearts of Oak’s goal against us was an offside. They scored an offside goal and the referee denied us a clear penalty."

Kotoko despite the defeat are still in the top four with 31 points and will face regional rivals King Faisal in the next round of matches
