Techiman Eleven Wonders have released a statement to oppose the decision of the GFA Executive Committee's decision to surpass them to select a new replacement for AshantiGold SC next season.
The Miners despite surviving in the just ended season will have to compete in the country's second tier in the next campaign, following their demotion for match fixing.
The Executive Council of the country's highest football governing body few days ago, came out with a format to engage second-placed clubs in the three respective zones of division one in a playoff with the winner getting the nod to replace the out-gone AshantiGold.
Ebusua Dwarfs per reports, have already challenged the issue that, they featured in the 2020/21 season in which the incident happened and were the best team among those relegated that year henceforth are supposed to be handed the nod.
Eleven Wonders just this afternoon also came out with a statement and quoted Article 7(2) of the GFA regulations to state categorically clear that, they deserve to stay in the league.
