Asante Kotoko midfielder, Enoch Morrison has confessed he hasn't been anywhere near the level of performance he gave at his former club and has dug deep into why the situation has been like that so far.

The 23 year old joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the start of last season from King Faisal FC after a stupendous and consistent display in the green and white shirt.

The versatile midfielder started very well but saw a huge dip in performance subsequently and that somehow could contribute to why Kotoko couldn't defend the league title.

In an interview, he admitted he couldn't match up his previous performances but said is because he isn't made to play at his natural number 10 position, reason he's struggled to replicate his King Faisal heroics in the red shirt.

"I have not even done 30% of what I did at King Faisal. The way I played at King Faisal is different from how I am playing now. I wouldn’t blame myself so much because I used to play the number 10 role at King Faisal but at Kotoko, I play in different roles. I have played 31 matches and never played as number 10."

“This is not to say it is somebody’s fault. It is part of the game. I have to adopt to the system. I even played at left back at a point. I have to play because it is something I can do.”

Enoch Morrison last season, netted three goals and assisted twice, compared to his time King Faisal, where he netted seven times with an assist in his last season with the 'Insha Allah' outfit.

He is currently with his other Kotoko teammates at Beposo for preseason towards the 2023/24 season.
