Asante Kotoko has completed the signing of midfielder Emmanuel Antwi from Great Olympics, as the 26-year-old bids farewell to his former club.

Antwi inked a three-year deal with the Kumasi-based team, having passed his medical examination on Tuesday afternoon in Kumasi.

The former Black Starlets midfielder had mutually parted ways with Olympics, with few months left on his contract. In a heartfelt message on social media, Antwi thanked the Accra-based club for his time with them, expressing his gratitude and wishing them well for the future.

"Thank you to the Accra Great Olympics Family. My time with you guys was amazing and I can't thank you more. Wishing you all the best for the season ahead and hope we cross paths again," he wrote.

Antwi will join his new teammates at the Adako Jachie training complex this week to begin training ahead of the upcoming Democracy Cup game against Hearts of Oak.
